Good Friday
The weight… knowing what is coming, knowing why, seeing pain from the inside out approaching, so extreme the wrestling in prayer and anticipation.

Then surrender.

The reality.betrayal, hissing hostility, cruel violence, traumatic injury, heartless scoffing, gut-wrenched witness by the few faithful.

Then crucified.

The atonement…cosmic wrath, suffocating sin of generations, darkness seen and felt, writhing, stench of hell swirling, horror of separation from all holiness.

Then dead.

The burial…pierced sinews, gashed side, sweat and blood caked everywhere, life gone, wrapped, laid inside cold stone, sealed inside.

Then…
