Were you looking for me?
I didn’t go anywhere.
I am just in the midst of this:
Luke 14:28-30 NIV
“Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’
So, though I currently can’t reveal what’s in the hopper, we are in a position where we must be prayerful and diligent to do our homework. At this point, we are reading, we are reviewing our habits, we are talking, we are asking questions, we are praying and we are waiting.
We all face moments where evaluation is necessary.
How do you handle those moments?
Where do you turn to for guidance?
The hubs and I are grateful for prayerful friends who are grounded in God’s Word who provide wise council and encouragement. We are thankful too for God’s presence and Spirit with us. We know we can depend on Him to open and/or close doors 🚪 in our process.
If you are at a fork in the road wondering where to go from here, don’t panic! Inhale slowly and remember how faithful God has been so far, and then slowly exhale and be grateful that He welcomes His children to pour our your questions, concerns, gratitude and requests to Him. He hears. He responds. He leads. Always with unfailing love.
Prayers for you in this season. Taking time to ponder is good.
Thanks! Prayers always welcome!
